GET YOUR FACE ON!!!

There is a GET YOUR FACE ON challenge to all of you HOT mamas!! Not only do we want to brave and put it all out there...showing what we look like NATURALLY and then made up. But we are also sharing our beauty secrets, favorites, and tips to be the BEST we can be. Are you brave enough to show your face?

My before and after pics are at the end...but here are my steps to getting my face on...

Bare Minerals Make up in Medium...
Then a nice natural coat of Faux Tan...

Then I use what is left of my Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips (I dropped it and half of it cracked and broke off. Oh well) I use the dark purple with light purple over it, as well as using the shadow as eyeliner on my eyes with a liner brush...

I then use two coats of MAX factor mascara...
And one coat of Revlon Color Stay gloss and I am good for the day...
Haley BEFORE...
And Haley after...
My system in the morning is super quick and easy. I am a P.E. teacher...therefore wearing sweats most days...so getting dolled up with sweats on may look a little silly. So, most days I wear my hair up in a ponytail and I am off to sweat with the kids!! It literally takes me 10 minutes to get ready for school in the morning!!! I love it! What are your tips and secrets?? Please share!

  1. You are naturally pretty. Makeup doesn't look drastic on you, just a little freshining. =) You are beautiful and I love how you brightened you eyes.

  2. Aaaahhh. I left you a nice long comment and then I got closed out. I'm trying again here. You are beautiful and I have to agree that you are one of those natural beauties that we love to "hate"! You look great and glowy in your after but equally lovely in your before. Thanks so much for taking the time to link up and share your tips with the world!

  4. Hi Haley! I think I'm one of the VERY FEW out there who have not tried mineral makeup yet!.. So after this event, I'm convinced that I have at least GOT TO TRY IT! I did not participate, as I only just found out about this event, and WISH I knew about it sooner! Actually, I'm still thinking about it, but then my NEW camera is a nightmare.. Works terrible.. but I'll see what I can do!.. In the meantime, you look great!! Love your family photos too!.. I have to tip my hat to everyone for their bravery! Nice to meet you today! ~tina

  9. Wow, you really are a natural beauty. A testimony to the power of being in good shape, I think! Your make-up just serves to highlight your good points. . . just what make-up ought to do, I think!

  11. Thank you for all the KIND comments. I am a firm believer that make up should HIGHLIGHT your face...not cover it up. I have HUGE massive freckles all over my face and look goofy if I try to tame that with a thick matte looking foundation. Which is why, for me, the mineral make up works the best. You can't tell right now because it is winter...but come Summer my face is ONE BIG GIANT brown freckle :) Thanks again for your support!!
